The Ingham ISD is committed to increasing the literacy for all students in Ingham County. Through this commitment, the ELA K-5 Steering Committee has been established to make decisions on the priorities needed to increase literacy outcomes across the county. This committee will set a course of action, make recommendations, and conduct other business related to the goals. During steering committee meetings, the emphasis of the work will focus on four core areas: collaboration, professional development, assessment/data, and research-based practices.
