Required for identified program staff. Emergency Physical Restraint is for “key personnel” (not all staff) that need to be certified in how to properly perform an emergency physical restraint for a child ages 3-7. Each classroom needs to have at least one key personnel they can access within the building in case of an emergency. Staff must attend verbal de-escalation prior to attending emergency physical restraint training.
