Required for New PreK for All staff. Optional for PreK and K teachers and staff. Verbal De-escalation Training is intended for all staff interacting with children. Along with Handle w/Care techniques, the training includes the seclusion/restraint awareness training mandated by the state, required for all staff. Your school or district may already provide awareness training to new staff, but if not, this training will cover the mandate for staff.
