Join colleagues from across Ingham ISD for this interactive and collaborative 504 Coordinators Network session designed for district and building staff responsible for Section 504 implementation. This follow-up session moves beyond foundational understanding to focus on real-world application, compliance, and continuous improvement. This session is designed to support a consistent, compliant, and equitable approach to Section 504 implementation, while building a strong regional network of professionals committed to improving outcomes for students. Participants will: 1. Apply Section 504 requirements to realistic case scenarios to strengthen decision-making and problem-solving. 2. Deepen understanding of procedural safeguards, documentation expectations, and compliance requirements 3. Examine common compliance risks and pitfalls, including eligibility decisions, informal accommodations, and implementation challenges. 4. Strengthen practices for developing and implementing clear, student-centered 504 plans. 5. Collaborate with colleagues across districts to share strategies, tools, and solutions.
