Trauma can negatively impact emotional, physical, and behavioral development and can have lasting effects on health and well-being into adulthood. A trauma-informed approach can help educators to thoughtfully look at areas that may be perpetuating trauma responses in students, staff, and families. This training helps participants recognize key elements of physical and psychological safety in schools and learn strategies that promote regulation and relationships in service of building safe learning communities.
