In compliance with MCL 380.1249(5), school leaders whose districts utilize either the Marzano or Danielson Educator Evaluation Models are encouraged to attend this training in preparation of the September 1, 2024 legislative requirement. In the day-long session, school leaders will hone their observation and feedback skills related to two specific teacher observation and evaluation frameworks. Participants will also collect evidence during an observation, code evidence to one's instructional framework/rubric, provide formative feedback and engage in an observation conversation. Throughout the training participants will calibrate their work to the work of the facilitator and to one another, and will continually identify areas of growth with both the process and personal practices. Target Audience: Building Principals, Assistant Principals, and Central Office Administrators. Select only one date to attend.
