*Due to capacity issues, this session will be restricted to Ingham ISD service area educators only.* Intended audience: teachers, coaches and administrators. The flipped classroom can be a highly effective model for blended learning. This session will cover both the online and face-to-face features of the flipped classroom and provide practical strategies (and templates) for increasing engagement in the videos and using formative assessment effectively so that face-to-face time is not wasted. Learning objectives: 1) Understand the definition and key features of the flipped classroom; 2) Understand how to plan for what to cover online and what to cover face-to-face; 3) See resources and templates that can increase the effectiveness of the flipped classroom.
