Setting Up Your Classroom Community for Success: PBIS, Relationships, and Social-Emotional Learning

This series is for all staff new to early education programs (teachers, teaching assistants, paraprofessionals, substitutes) who have a PBIS system in place or those working to develop one, PreK-Grade 3. Participants will understand the purpose of SW-PBIS. They will be able to describe the relationship between children’s social emotional development and challenging behavior. They will understand and be able to describe the role adult reactions, responses, and practices have on their children’s behavior. Participants will have an opportunity review or develop their own building expectations.
