The summer paraprofessional training will discuss the role of a paraprofessional, provide an overview of special education eligibility areas and provide paraprofessionals with strategies to support learning through use of visuals strategies. Paraprofessionals will learn basic concepts about behaviors and proactive strategies to de-escalate behavior.
