Ingham ISD will implement New Teacher Networks throughout the 2022-2023 school-year. The networks content will be focused on improvements in teaching and learning, and networking opportunities to support one another in current and relevant topics. Individual and collective reflection time will be incorporated into each network, as well as time to share artifacts from the field. We will incorporate opportunities for participants to observe others and be observed between each session (with a special emphasis on connecting each educator to support networks in their home districts, i.e. instructional coaches, contractual mentors, department heads, veteran teachers down the hall, etc.) Project leaders will conduct follow-up discussions with a focus on the topic of that session seeking evidence of programmatic success. We will survey the participants at the end of each session to receive feedback on the sessions and will use feedback for planning future sessions of relevant topics based on new teacher needs.
